How it works
Three things parents ask before they buy.
Two ways to add audio
Both start in the app. Your first track takes about a minute. The app walks you through it.
SpotifyAdd any playlist, album or podcast. It streams to the Flip over your network. A free Spotify account is enough.
OfflineDownload stories and courses from the NODI library to the Flip. Car, plane, cellar, no signal needed.
Messages go both ways
You never need a plan to use the Flip.
Grown-upsInstall the free NODI app and accept your invitation.
Other kids with a FlipAdded with your invite code and approved by both sets of parents.
You decide who’s inAdd, remove or pause any contact, any time.
Staying connected
You never need a plan to use the Flip.
Wi-Fi and hotspotThe Flip remembers every network, including your phone’s hotspot on the go. No extra cost.
LTE (optional)The Wi-Fi + LTE Flip also uses mobile data, so it works when you’re not around. Like a phone, without the phone.
NODI ConnectUnlimited data via eSIM. €9.99/month, €6.99/month yearly, first month free, cancel anytime. Or your own nano SIM.

FAQ
What is the NODI Flip?
The NODI Flip is a screen-free audio companion for kids aged 5–12. Children stream music via Spotify, listen to audiobooks and learning content, and send voice messages to contacts you approve — with big buttons and a mini status display instead of a touchscreen.
Which Spotify account do I need? Does a free account work?
A free Spotify account is enough, and an existing account works too. Add any playlist, album or podcast in the NODI app and it streams to the Flip over your network.
What can my child actually listen to?
Whatever you choose in the app: Spotify playlists, albums, audiobooks and podcasts, plus stories, languages and courses from the NODI library. Parents choose, children listen.
Does it work with other streaming services?
The Flip streams via Spotify Connect. Alongside Spotify, the NODI library offers stories, audiobooks and learning content you can download to the Flip.
How do voice messages work? Who can my child talk to?
Only the contacts you approve. Grown-ups install the free NODI app and accept your invitation; other kids with a Flip are added with your invite code and approved by both sets of parents. You can add, remove or pause any contact, any time.
Does the Flip work offline?
Yes. Downloads from the NODI library play anywhere — car, plane, cellar, no signal needed. Spotify streaming and voice messages need a connection.
Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + LTE, which one do I need?
WiFi works like a tablet: it connects via WiFi or your phone's hotspot and is best if the Flip will mostly be used at home. WiFi+LTE works like a phone: it stays connected on the go, perfect for children who are out and about on their own.
How does LTE work? Do I need a SIM card?
The WiFi+LTE Flip works with an eSIM or your own nano SIM. With NODI Connect you get unlimited data via eSIM for €9.99/month, or €6.99/month billed yearly — first month free, cancel anytime. A plan is never required.
Can I connect headphones?
Yes. The Flip works with Bluetooth and wired USB-C headphones, plus 3.5mm headphones via an adapter. It also has a built-in 3W speaker.
How do you protect my child’s data?
No open internet, no strangers and no data harvesting. Only the contacts and content you approve in the NODI app ever reach the Flip.
Is there a tracking function?
Yes, with the optional Tracking Lanyard. It works with Apple Find My (iOS) and Google Find Hub (Android), so you can locate the Flip anytime.
I have two kids. Do I get a discount?
Yes! More fun together: save 5% when you order 2 Flips, or 10% on 3 or more — for siblings or friends.
When does it ship and what if we don’t like it?
Delivery starts in October 2026 and is free. Every Flip comes with a 30-day happiness guarantee, and you can cancel your pre-order anytime.
